The sooner you can beat 5 of them, the better.
The rest of the assault battle is clear cut. As always, Killing the ewok elder in Round 8 will revive all dead allies. I like to fracture Logray to avoid getting dazed, and focus elder. Rebel Round-Up (Bounty Hunters and Troopers) Once this event comes around again, I will be re-evaluating tier 2 with bounter hunters :)
