I did the reverse and started with a progressive push at 11 and added .1 the first 5 minutes, hoping to keep progressing to 12 but decided to hold at 11.5 the entire 12 minutes and averaged 11.4 for a total distance of 2.272 It was the first time in 33 months of OTF that I almost collapsed afterwards.Run for 2 minutes, recover for 1. After the first 5 minutes I may change to a 90/30 sec interval with my 90 sec being a high push and 30 power walking recovery. The 2 minutes, regardless of where I am in the intervals, is a progressive push to a 45 sec sprint to the end. This has worked for me for years doing a 12 minute or similar challenge.
