Some quick thoughts on the matter: -American will retire around 5500 pilots by 2022. Delta, I'm not sure about. -Delta's pay is currently higher than American, but American will renegotiate a contract in the next two years. Delta retires 5465 pilots from 2015-2024. Pay will most likely be fairly close between DAL/UAL/AMR going forward as each of us pattern bargains off each other.
