Paladins are pretty solid in Kingmaker. Will give a + to the Ranger and Slayer classes as they're straightforward. Lawful Good Deliverer Slayer in particular is a great choice, lets you be the good guy AND able to get a bonus against the majority of enemies in game. Fighter is also a go to.
