Inquisitor Assault Battle is pretty good - Decent rewards that include Hermit Yoda, and the final match mirror Rebels with Maul, Ahsoka and Kanan vs Inquisitors. It's also reasonable power level as with two G12 inquisitors I can still beat Challenge Tier I, maybe 2 (haven't tried yet)

JTR, bb8, stick rey, are at top 20 (Top 12 if sorted by r7) and those are not good characters to waste relics to r7. Well that's not true. Scav Rey might not be all that, but you can make a very good TW/GAC team with JTR and BB8 once you add in others such as RH Finn and Poe. Or Vet Han and Chewie.

As you progress in the game, the four biggest features will be the Squad Arena, Galactic War, Raids, and Events. Choosing characters should always reflect full teams meant for any of these areas. Your first focus should always be a strong team for the Squad Arena because the Arena is the place that will offer the most free crystals in the game.

For general purpose as a new player I'd probably say the Fifth Brother will help the most as you might use the team to clear Dark Side battles at 3 stars and the added defence and health will help ya out.
