I am in the planning stage of making a Charles Daly youth model 20 gauge pump a turkey killing machine. Here's a few issues I could use some help with. Issue#1, In just shooting the gun as is, it consistently shoots low when patterning at 40 yds. The "low" isn't terribly low and could possibly be fixed with the tru glo magnum gobble dot sight.

In a bit of a pickle here. My local Dunhams has a sale on the Mossberg 500 12GA Field/Deer Combo for $450 and the Charles Daly 601 12GA for $380.
