I put together a gilded hero rankings in excel so I could quickly determine if I should ungild a hero or not. I ranked the heroes based on low cost and dmg upgrades. I'm not entirely sure if ungilding a hero like Ma Zhu (the most expensive hero with 450% dmg increase) is worth it yet, so my strategy has been to ungild any hero rank 12 and below.Thanks for watching! The way to quickly calculate how to level ancients in each of those categories is simple. Say you have e85 Hero Souls at the moment. To level the more expensive ones, just look at the number 85 and divide it by 2.5. The less expensive ones, you divide that same number by 2 .
