It sounds like the injector for the oxidation filter in the exhaust system is either not working or the hole the injector sprays In is clogged. This fix would probably cost you about 400-500 to repair. I’m not sure for the doc but I know for the DPF the the system will put the engine in limp mode.

Aug 12, 2018 · Def gauge light means way more then it needs to. It is just an indication somthing in the after treatment is wrong. It’s not always somthing wrong with just the def. On our ISX15 it will turn the def light on if theres somthing wrong with the diesel doser right after the turbo. Or certain egr/ turbo faults.
