Neopluralism, then, is the term I adopt to characterize the overarching trend pattern in world politics. This “transnational neopluralism” is, how- ever, a work in progress, continually shaping political action and institu- tional change and, in turn, itself being reshaped in a range of inextricably intertwined ways.
