There is a way of selecting reverse idle and then using the lower detent of the thrust levers to ‘decrease thrust’ (i.e. apply full reverse thrust) - it then works just like the A320. The problem is, when you select reverse, because it is treated as a continual button press, the reverse thrust levers flutter madly between off and on.

I can’t really gauge it, and linear seems way too sensitive. Thanks! Extremity dead zone is the most important setting. If this feels not very responsive, change to 50 or 35, dont touch senitivity. Logitech yoke limited to 90 degree rotation (45 left + 45 right), exactly half of a real yoke.

Adjusting the sensitivity to make it somewhat ok on the ground reduces the effectiveness to cancel out a crosswind in the landing. I can’t find a happy medium. The gold standard of rudder control so far that I have found is the FBW A320 and also the PMDG DC6. I hope they can revisit this in the future. I've tried chasing sensitivity settings with other planes and it felt like a fools errand for me personally. I just try to be more patient with the yoke. I've learned that just pressure (back or forward) does more than I might think. Don't get me wrong, sensitivity in MSFS is definitely an issue but I just try to work with it. Also, TRIM.
