manual import. First i thought it might be a rights issue. i checked and the files are all owned by the same user as my download clients. which is also the user radarr uses. just to make absolutly sure that its not a rights issue, i set chmod 777 on the entire films download folder. (no luck)

I've noticed that when using "Manual import" with Radarr (and Sonarr) it will take around 5 minutes to list the content of my folder with media. The folder contains 1300 folders and files which amounts to around 18TB of data. As others have said your workflow would change completely with radarr. Nov 25, 2021 · One of the scenarios where Sonarr moves files before they finished seeding in the torrent client is when manually told to do so by the user via Force Import or, more likely, Manual Import (since manual import defaults to move). It’s impossible to investigate any potential issues without sufficient information. Scroll all the way to the bottom (make sure at least one movie is selected) and hit the root folder drop down. Select add root folder. Add whatever catagory folders you want to have as "root folders" in your mentioned case it would be the 'English movies' folder and which ever others you might have.

It's manual, but it seems to be working for me so far. I think the other option is to get all the movies into Radarr with the right path (which will be wrong and not point to your movies), then use Wanted -> Manual Import to process them and pull them in.
